I have no idea how this new development is going to play out , however my recommendation is for EVR to purchase properties along the Elk River and significant fish spawning creeks, between Fording River and Elko to the equivalent of 33.3% of their total held property/mining rights in the Elk Valley. The purpose of these new property purchases would be to enhance and protect the natural heritage of the Elk River watershed for all residents and visitors to appreciate and recreate in perpetuity. These properties should be purchased with the Elk Valley's First Nations input and management. A board of directors from these First Nations as well as all the valley's Outdoor sports alliances and Wildsight would ensure the successs of this venture. • Dear Sirs, I am very concerned about additional pollution flowing into Montana rivers, pollution than originates anywhere including locally and in British Columbia.  We know this is happening in our Elk River, with Selenium levels coming in from BC impacting our water quality.  It is lowering fish health and numbers, and threatening a large recreation industry as well.
