Good for Nova Scotia's Future

I grew up in Nova Scotia and was one of the many that had to move away for work.  For 18 years I missed home and a chance to raise my children in the loving, homey community feel I got to grow up in.  Then Atlantic Gold at the time, opened up the means for my husband and I to raise our 4 children and start our own farm here in my home province.

I love the way Nova Scotians fight to keep our province protected and beautiful, as well as a company coming in and doing things better.  Past damage of neglectful ways are being corrected and my family looks to have a future here.  The amount of business the mine has given to the small businesses in our area has kept our community growing, even more appreciated through all the years of covid.

I am grateful to be living a life where we are able to build a future for our kids and enjoy all that Nova Scotia has to offer.  I do not wish to face having to ever move away again.  St. Barbara has worked along side Environment and community to go above and beyond measures required and always transparent with each phase of mining.
