Better Options

The government is making a terrible mistake by constantly doubling down on high-polluting energy projects at the expense of our greatest natural resources - most notably our clean and stable watershed. Alberta should be focusing on sustainable long-term industry that takes advantage of our assets in a non-destructible way. We have one of the most beautiful and accessible landscapes in the world, and yet we cut parks budgets, introduce harmful industry, and let important infastructure fall to ruin. Demand for public use of these areas is higher than ever. With our unique ecosystem, we should be utilizing these landscapes for sustainable industries like tourism and film and entertainment - not stripping them bare and salting the earth.
