Coal?

How in 2021 can we actually be contemplating the destruction of the Eastern Slopes to benefit the coal industry.  This government was elected on the promise  that it was going to make the environment a priority.  The approval of this project could not be further from the platform that this government ran on.  The destruction of this area in Alberta would have catastrophic consequences and be a huge step backwards in what should be a priority to transition away from these types of energy sources.
