Thre is no proof that the ore they found is of high enough quality to warrant destroying such a beautiful wilderness area, where the natives have fished for generations and rely upon for food. Once destroyed, these areas will never recover. There are so few left on the planet now, and it is ridiculously short-sighted to destroy them simply to give in to the demands of a few greedy human beings wanting silver!! Now more than ever, the wisdom of native people is being respected and listened to.
