President's Funding Allocation Decision Report

Allocation of Federal Funds for the Environmental Assessment of the of the Ajax Copper/Gold Mine Project

The President of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) reviewed the report and recommendations of the Funding Review Committee (FRC) for the Ajax Copper/Gold Mine project (the Project). Taking into consideration the funding allocation recommendations from the FRC, the President of the Agency made the final decision to allocate $1,575 to Susan McGillivray, $18,700 to the Grasslands Conservation Council of British Columbia on behalf of the Kamloops Naturalist Club and the Kamloops District Fish and Game Association, and $11,950 to Sharon Antoniak on behalf of the Kamloops Area Preservation Association.

The President of the Agency allocates a total of $32,225 to the three applicants as outlined in the table below:
