Notice of Commencement of an Environmental Assessment

Ottawa – May 17, 2013 - The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (the Agency) has commenced an environmental assessment pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012 (CEAA 2012) for the Echo Hill Coal Mine Project.

On March 25, 2013, the Agency decided that a federal environmental assessment was required.
