The Proposed Project

Crystal Creek Homes is proposing to construct Black Birch Heights - a residential development located at Taza Park on Tsuut'ina Nation reserve lands. The approximately 11632 square metre development consists of two six storey buildings containing in total 345 units atop a single level parkade.

The lot for the proposed project is located on an already cleared and serviced and will therefore tie into existing water, storm, and sanitary services, use Tsuut'ina Nation public roadways and tie into electrical infrastructure grid. The Project is not in the vicinity of any known species at risk or waterbodies.

Indigenous Services Canada will be required to issue subleases under Section 53(1) of the Indian Act.
