The Proposed Project
The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This project involves the construction of two Helicopter Landing Zones (HLZ), with a proposed 13 600 m2 footprint. The area is currently a developed land with existing gravel pad, French drains and fencing on all four sides. The intent is to transform the area into a rigid concrete apron with two clearly identified HLZ.
