The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. This project involves the construction of a logistics yard and warehouse building, on previously developed land on the Ceri Military Base in Latvia, where ISO shipping containers and their contents will be moved and stored. The warehouse will be capable of hosting up to 6 ISO Multimode containers. The warehouse construction will also include 3 offices, an issuing counter and some climate-controlled racking. The majority of the exterior logistics yard will be used for double stacking multimode containers for storage cross load contents between containers, based on unit supply requests. The project has a total footprint of approximately 2 500 m2.
