Tobique Phase 5 Subdivision Development – Public Comments Invited

March 5, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Tobique Phase 5 Subdivision Development project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The proposed project will include the development of approximately 2.9 ha to facilitate the development of 16 residential building lots for future home construction. Activities include clearing, grubbing, and grading of the development area, new roadways, ditches, and stormwater culvert features to direct surface water runoff from the new development in the Phase 5 ditch system.
