Woodstock First Nation – Water and Wastewater Upgrades – Public Comments Invited
January 30, 2026 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Woodstock First Nation – Water and Wastewater Upgrades project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project will consist of the installation of watermain infrastructure along Mowin Lane (586m) and sewermain connections (175m), both to connect into existing infrastructure. It will also include full road infrastructure (base, sub-base, asphalt, topsoil and ditching) to rebuild the road, as well as installation of new manholes and hydrants. Project activities include site preparation, installation of piping, levelling, construction, and site restoration.
