The Proposed Project

The purpose of this project is to replace the small boat lift system at the dock behind the RCMP Windsor detachment, on the Detroit River. The current system is old and no longer works. The boat lift is used to lift RCMP boats completely out of water for safe mooring. The new system will be supported by a new deep foundation system. The boat slip will be extended to meet the dimensional requirements of the new vessel. The existing walkway surrounding the slip will be modified to suit the updated configuration.
