The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. Construction of a permanent 1st Line maintenance facility at Camp Ceri to enhance operational readiness and reduce vehicle degradation. The facility will provide indoor maintenance bays, workshops, hazardous material storage, and supporting infrastructure such as electrical, water, and waste systems. Completion is targeted for Fall 2028, with phased delivery through design, permitting, and construction. Expected footprint is 6600 m2 plus additional outdoor areas for parking and storage. Proposed location is in Area B of Camp Ceri, currently a large gravel lot bounded by storm water ditches with no outlet to another water source.
