Expansion of the Outdoor Storage Area at Logistics Park F (PL-F)
Notice of Determination
November 18, 2025 – The Trois-Rivieres Port Authority (TRPA) has determined that the proposed project - Expansion of the Outdoor Storage Area at Logistics Park F (PL-F) - is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
It is important to note that for each component potentially affected by the Project, specific mitigation measures have been identified. These measures are designed to reduce or eliminate negative impacts or enhance the project's environmental performance. All such measures will be incorporated into the technical specifications and provided to the contractors responsible for the construction phase, thereby constituting mandatory environmental conditions for carrying out the work.
The TRPA will play a central role in monitoring and enforcing these measures throughout the construction site. The contractor must comply with environmental laws, maintain and ensure the effectiveness of protective devices, and promote best practices among teams. The text also addresses work schedules, management of construction zones, site security, and signage in case of disruptions. Additional sections detail aspects such as material management, noise control, air quality, waste management, protection of wildlife and vegetation, and prevention of contamination risks, ensuring that every stage of the project is conducted in compliance with environmental standards and safety requirements.
Therefore, the TRPA may perform any duty or function to enable the project to be carried out in whole or in part.
