November 6, 2025 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project
The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. This project involves the construction of a new ammo compound. The construction of the new ammo compound includes but is not limited to a Multi-Cubicle Storage Magazine, Transit Building, Admin./Salvage Building, supporting site utilities, associated hardstand and fencing to demarcate the overall compound and relocation of the NABCO containment vessel.
