August 19, 2025 –Edmonton Regional Airports Authority must decide whether the proposed construction of a cold storage facility located at the Edmonton International Airport is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, Edmonton Regional Airports Authority is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

The cold storage facility will be an expansion within an existing building. Its construction will allow for temperature-controlled storage space for cargo products. The total area of the expansion is approximately 1,188 square meters.
