The Proposed Project
The Department of National Defence (DND) is proposing a project. Following an expert assessment of the retaining wall built in the 1950s, it must be replaced in the short term due to advanced deterioration and to ensure the safety of site users, thus avoiding the discharge of debris into the river. This project is a continuation of Phase 1 P20-39 Renovation of the river retaining wall, completed in summer 2023.
