Proposed Project

The Peepeekisis Cree Nation Youth Impact Centre is a proposed community project designed to focus on preventive services aimed at Peepeekisis Youth and Children. This facility will offer a wide range of services designed to prevent the occurrence of social, emotional and physical challenges and offer educational programs and workshops aimed at promoting Peepeekisis culture and values, enabling youth to forge strong connections with their heritage. The physical structure is envisioned as a commercial-style facility with an approximate size of 7,600 square feet. The facility will include residential rooms and common areas. The facility is designed with scalability to accommodate future growth and evolving community needs, ensuring a lifespan of 30 years or more. The project will occupy a designated land parcel within Peepeekisis Cree Nation at NE 04-22-10 W2M. Preliminary plans include integration with existing infrastructure for utilities. Environmental and geotechnical assessments will guide site development, ensuring compliance and sustainability.
