May 20, 2025 — Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

Inside Edge Properties, on behalf of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services, is to execute a project to replace the roof (approx. 1,650 m²) on the existing building at 1223 Michael Street, Ottawa, Ontario in spring 2025. The physical work encompasses replacement of the roofing and insulation system, rough carpentry to raise parapets and curbs, installation of sheet metal flashings, sealants, retrofit roof drains, and coordination with rooftop mechanical and electrical services.
