Proposed Project
Muskoday First Nation is proposing a booster station upgrade project. The existing booster station is located in the rural residential area on the west side of the South Saskatchewan River near the Pow Wow grounds. This project consists of construction of a new 191 sq.m. booster station building, complete with below grade reservoirs, pumping equipment, and backup generator. Construction will also include site landscaping (approximately 0.15 ha of site development), and installation of 350 meters of supply and distribution mains (common trench) from the old booster station to the new booster station within the South Hill Road right of way.
All anticipated waste generated during construction will be responsibly handled and disposed of to designated off-reserve facilities. Procedures will also be followed to limit the amounts of waste generated during construction and mitigate any potential contamination pathways for petroleum products from on-site equipment.
