February 11, 2025 –Edmonton Regional Airports Authority must decide whether the proposed Groundside Roads Rehabilitation Project located at the Edmonton International Airport is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, Edmonton Regional Airports Authority is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. All comments received will be considered public [and may be posted online]. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The Groundside Roads Project will rehabilitate existing infrastructure at the Edmonton International Airport. The scope includes but not limited to: earthworks, concrete removal and repaving. The forecasted total rehabilitation area is greater than 1,000 square meters with locations of work taking place at various locations on groundside.
