Proposed Project
Pelican Lake First Nation is proposing to develop land and infrastructure to deliver child and family prevention services in a way that is safe, accessible, adequate, confidential, culturally appropriate and age appropriate. Providing access to prevention services within the community will enhance the safety and well-being of PLFN members and families in a way that is equitable and in the best interests of the child.
The project is anticipated to develop land and construct a 6,000 square foot building to deliver child and family prevention services as well as a 6,000 square foot Quonset that will house school buses, quads, and other prevention equipment within SE 25-054-13 W3M.
