Notice of Time Limit Resumption

Ottawa — January 10, 2025 — On January 6, 2025, Federation Group Inc. (the proponent) provided its response to the Summary of Issues for the Marguerite Lake Compressed Air Energy Storage Project to the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC). On January 10, 2025, IAAC determined that this document contains sufficient information to inform its section 16 decision regarding whether an impact assessment is required. The proponent thereby completed the activity for which it requested that the time limit be suspended on November 1, 2024, and the 180-day time limit has resumed as of January 6, 2025.

The 180-day time limit is the period of time within which IAAC must provide the proponent with a notice of the commencement of the impact assessment, if IAAC decides that an impact assessment of the project is required.
