Notice of Time Limit Suspension with Reasons

Ottawa — January 15, 2025 — The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) suspended the 180-day time limit for the Planning Phase under the Impact Assessment Act for the Bruce C Nuclear Project, proposed by Bruce Power (the proponent).

IAAC has taken this action in consideration of a written request from the proponent that the time limit be suspended in order to allow for additional engagement activities to occur.

When the proponent has provided IAAC with an update on engagement, IAAC will post a notice that the prescribed activity is completed and the 180-day time limit will resume.
