The Proposed Project
Project Summary: Bigstone Cree Nation Education Authority is proposing to install a new antenna on an existing self-standing lattice telecommunication tower and to install a new telescopic antenna mast on the roof of Golden Eagle High School. The proposed antennas are for the purpose of transportation communications for Bigstone Cree Nation Education Authority. The proposed antenna for the existing 45.72m (150 ft) self-standing lattice is an omnidirectional dipole antenna where it may be placed at a height of 36m (118 ft). The proposed telescopic mast on Golden Eagle High School may have a total height of 9.1 m (30 ft) supporting an omnidirectional antenna whip. The antennas may operate on the Land Mobile VHF band (138-144 and 148-174 MHz).
