Timiskaming Dams Complex: Buildings Replacement – Public Comments Invited

November 21, 2024 – The authority must determine whether the proposed Timiskaming Buildings Replacement, located in Timiskaming District, ON is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the authority is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

• This project involves abatement of materials containing asbestos and lead and demolition of the PSPC Office and Damkeeper house (including garage) at the Timiskaming Dams Complex in Long Sault Island, Temiscaming, ON
• The first part of this project is the abatement of materials containing asbestos and lead of the Dam keeper house (including garage) and the PSPC office. 
• The second part of this project is the demolition of the Dam Keeper house (including garage).
