The Proposed Project

Lucky Man Cree Nation is proposing to construct a new main road to connect the core community to the adjacent existing municipal road network. The proposed road right of way is approximately 1.6 kilometres long and 30 metres wide, with ditch grading and back-sloping across the reserve land. Site preparation activities will consist of tree clearing and topsoil stripping of the proposed access road alignment, and construction activities will consist of excavation, grading, and compaction of the ground and road materials to achieve engineering requirements.
