Notice of Intent to Make a Determination

Pasqua First Nation Subdivision Phase 4 - Public Comments invited

September 27, 2024 - Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Pasqua First Nation Subdivision Phase 4, to be located on Pasqua First Nation, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

Proposed Project

Pasqua First Nation is proposing to construct Phase 4 of their long term subdivisions plan. The new subdivision includes 54 serviced lots. The project includes the installation of sewer, water, natural gas, power and telecommunication services; building roads; installation of street lighting, construction of walking paths and planting of trees. The project footprint will result in the draining and filling of eight wetlands.
