Notice of Termination

Ottawa — September 27, 2024 — In accordance with section 181(3) of the Impact Assessment Act, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) has decided to terminate the environmental assessment of the Tilt Cove Exploration Drilling Project under the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012. Suncor Energy Inc., the proponent, has not provided IAAC with the required information or studies by the legislated time limit, which was previously extended to August 31, 2024.
