Kwìkwèxwelhp Healing Village - Access Road Repair and Re-grading – Public Comments Invited

March 19, 2021 – The Correctional Service Canada must determine whether the proposed Kwìkwèxwelhp Healing Village - Access Road Repair and Re-grading located in Harrison Mills, British Columbia is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Correctional Service Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The Kwìkwèxwelhp access road is 2 km and provides specific access to the institution. Over the years damage to the road has occurred that is beginning to create safety issues. The project is to repair and regrade the existing access road and repair or replace culverts along the road.
