Notice of Termination

Ottawa — August 19, 2024 — The Minister of Environment and Climate Change terminated the environmental assessment for the Kitimat Clean Refinery Project (the project) pursuant to section 62 of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012. On July 16, 2024, Kitimat Clean Ltd. notified the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada that they would no longer be carrying out the project.
