Notice of Determination

Quebec – August 6, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed project of "Maintaining road access of the former route 185" is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

This determination was based on the following factors :

• Feasible mitigation measures for work-related environmental impacts.
• The work required to maintain the eastern access road will be carried out in an area already anthropized by the presence of the existing Route 185.

Aboriginal Services Canada is convinced that the project is unlikely to cause adverse environmental effects.

Consequently, Aboriginal Services Canada may exercise its powers and duties to allow the project to proceed, in whole or in part.
