The Proposed Project

As part of Phase III of the Highway 85 (A-85) construction project, and more specifically in Section 4, located in theTaché Ouest road on the Kataskomiq reserve, the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTSM) plans to carry out, starting in July 2025, work on the former Route 185 crossing the boundaries of the Kataskomiq reserve, taking into account that this portion of road will change from a Trans-Canada highway to a service road whose use will be limited to providing access only to the Kataskomiq reserve. This section of road will lead to a dead end.

The planned surface area for these activities is approximately 4910 m2.
