Tahltan Band Council - IR13 Subdivision Phase 1 – Public Comments Invited
July 19, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) must determine whether the proposed IR13 Subdivision Phase 1, located in Dease Lake, BC is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
- The Tahltan Band Council is proposing to develop Phase 1 of a subdivision on Tahltan IR No. 13 in Dease Lake, BC.
- Phase 1 will consist of 80 lots, centralized water and wastewater systems, road and drainage works, hydro & telecommunication works, as well as lot preparation.
- The proponent has applied for funding from Indigenous Services Canada's Community Infrastructure Program for the construction of the proposed subdivision.
