CNRL proposal to install two new radiocommunications towers on Beaver Lake Cree Nation within the boundary of the Cold Lake Air Weapons range- Public Comments Invited

2024-04-05– Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Written comments must be submitted by 2024-05-07 to the contact identified on the project page.

The Proposed Project

CNRL is proposing to erect two new 30m lattice, free standing radiocommunications towers on Beaver Lake Cree Nation within the boundaries of the Cold Lake Air Weapons range. The purpose of these new towers  is to provide the necessary infrastructure to install antennas that support a variety of communication technologies including PCS, cellular, two-way radio, telemetry data, and wireless broadband coverage to the site.
