The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. The purpose of this project is to replace the existing underground watermain, sewers and associated structures within the ME30 compound at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston on a new improved alignment between Craftsman Blvd and Redpath Ave, tying into existing services at either end to restore watermain looping, improve service and address aging infrastructure. Includes removal and/or abandonment of the associated existing watermain and sewers services in the area, as well as reconstruction of the pavement structure throughout the ME30-East compound.

The project also includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of existing concrete curbs, bollards, impacted site fencing, landscaping, surface restoration, and new concrete areas at select building entrances.
