The Proposed Project

The project includes the demolition and removal of a decommissioned 46 m high water tower with a footprint of approximately 145 m2 located in Elsipogtog First Nation. The steel structure will be cut and disassembled safely, with a carefully planned sequence and with minimal impact on the surrounding site. The material from the tower will be recycled. Activities include excavation, trenching, decommissioning, and backfilling of abandoned water lines and systems serving the tower in parallel with the tower demolition. Grading, paving, and reinstatement to a paved yard will complete the project.
