Glooscap Farmers Market – Public Comments Invited
January 19, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Glooscap Farmers Market, located in Glooscap First Nation, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project
The project includes the construction of a 589m2 building with a 7307m2 parking lot. The total project footprint is approximately 0.79 hectares and will be built in a previously developed commercial area. Construction activities include construction of the building, grubbing and leveling of site, parking lot paving and lateral connections (water and waste water) into community services.
