July 1, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Tobacco Plains Village Loop Road project, located in Tobacco Plains IR#2 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Recommended upgrades to the Village Loop Road include asphalt pavement, drainage improvement. 

Tobacco Plains IR2 where works are planned to occur is located nearby Grasmere, BC.
