Suffield Industry Range Control Ltd. 2024 Road Repairs – Canadian Forces Base Suffield

January 4, 2024 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

Suffield Industry Range Control Ltd. (SIRC) is proposing to complete the 2024 annual maintenance of all road repairs/maintenance/replacements at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield including culverts, minor road repair (grading, gravel application, etc.) and hydrovacing Texas gates. These are to address rutting, washouts, damages to culverts, Texas gate cleanouts as well as other works deemed to impact road worthiness and safety.
