Wolf Creek Affordable Housing Project – Public Comments Invited

December 20, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) must determine whether the proposed Wolf Creek Affordable Housing Project, located in Osoyoos, BC is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

• The Osoyoos Indian Band Development Corporation (OIBDC) is proposing to develop a manufactured home, single family residential subdivision with outdoor parking on Lot 1 of the Osoyoos Indian Reserve No. 1. 
• The proponent has applied for a head lease from Indigenous Services Canada for the land proposed for the project.
