The Proposed Project

The Cote First Nation plans to construct a ~10 km walking path from the Cote First Nation into the local municipality of Kamsack, Saskatchewan. The project is taking place wholly upon Cote First Nation lands. The walking path will introduce a safer place for the Cote First nation members to walk, bike, rollerblade, or various other forms of active transportation along the walkway.

The walkway will also include a number of benches along the path to offer rest areas, street lights to allow sufficient lighting during evenings, and walking bridges where applicable.
