The Proposed Project

The Department of National Defence (DND) intends to construct a new Land Vehicle Crew Training System (LVCTS) building at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown. The purpose of the LVCTS Project will be to provide a virtual training system that will provide the Canadian Army with the capability to enhance various types of armoured vehicle crew training from individual training for Drivers and Gunners up to collective training for a full Combat Team. Each simulation facility will have space for Simulators, training classroom, Exercise Control Room, Auditorium, Computer Server Rooms, and some expansion space for future simulation systems.
