Public Notice

June 13, 2023 – The Fisheries and Oceans Canada must determine whether the proposed Harbour Improvements - Berens River , located in Berens River, MB is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Fisheries and Oceans Canada are inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The project involves the construction of a new 45 pad pre-cast concrete launch ramp including demolition of the existing pre-cast launch ramp. It also includes various repairs at the Sigurdsson Island harbour site including timber fender installation, ladder installation and timber cribwork repair.
