Refurbishment of Waratinack Street and relocation of the pumping station – Wemotaci - Public Comments Invited

 

April 11, 2023 Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed project "Refurbishment of Waratinack Street and relocation of the pumping station", located in Wemotaci is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

 

The project includes the relocation of the existing Nikanik High School pumping station to the exterior of the building, and the rehabilitation of the school access road to improve the safety and stability of the street leading to the school. The total footprint is approximately 2500 m2.
