Partial replacement and repair of the Kuujjuaq Airport perimeter fence
PUBLIC COMMENTS INVITED
10 mars 2023– Transport Canada must determine whether the proposed project, located in Kuujjuaq airport, Nunavik, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
To help inform this determination, Transport Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The project components include completely removing all wooden structures, filling the resulting hole with proper sized stone, ensure long-term stability to remaining installations and removing all contaminated soils and sediments present to meet the remediation requirements.
The goal is to remove existing structures and remove potential contamination to meet environmental requirements.
