Nav Canada, Modification to Existing Radiocommunications Tower on Transport Canada Property 19866, Fort Nelson, BC - Public Comments Invited

2023-01-30 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Nav Canada is proposing a modification to existing 11 m Radiocommunications Tower on Transport Canada Property 19866, Fort Nelson, BC.  The purpose of the modification is to provide Aeronautical voice (VHF band) and telemetry (UHF band) services.  The tower may undergo periodic antenna additions, replacements, or other minor modifications.
