YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel - Tank Farm Demolition and Remediation - Public Comments Invited

November 10, 2022 – ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project at YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Montreal International Fuel Facilities Corporation (MIFFC) is the owner of fuel storage installations located on Service A 4 Road at YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel. This service will be relocated and the operation of MIFFC's existing infrastructure will be discontinued.

As part of this project, MIFFC's existing installations will be decommissioned, including below ground infrastructure and soil remediation. The work will consist of dismantling and disposal of storage tanks, piping, buildings and cement pads. The dismantling of below ground infrastructure will be completed in conjunction with the soil remediation work.
