FedEx Facility Parking Lot Expansion – Public Comments Invited

June 27, 2022 – The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) must determine whether the proposed FedEx Facility Parking Lot Expansion located at 2190 Derry Road East, Mississauga is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, the GTAA is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. The Proposed Project

Development of the Site located at 2190 Derry Road East, Mississauga, Ontario consists of expansion of the existing parking lots both east and north of the Site, which is to be undertaken in two phases. Convert existing grassed areas into asphalt paved parking lot. The new parking area will be 6,945m2 increasing the parking spots to 365 spots for employees and 60 new VAN parking spots. Installation of new catchbasins as required to maintain water quantity and quality control measures.
